Who is Culinary Coaching for?  

Culinary Coaching is for anyone ready to feel more confident and capable in the kitchen — no matter where you're starting from.

Whether you're brand new to wholefoods or looking to refine your technique, these one-on-one sessions are tailored to your personal goals. We focus on practical skills, efficient progress, and building lasting confidence — either in person in Byron Bay or online from anywhere.

How It Works

    1. Choose Your Programme

    Select the coaching program that best suits your needs.

    2. Book Your Sessions

    I’ll reach out to you to see when you’d like your session(s) to be. Sessions are usually held weekly or bi-weekly, however, you have the flexibility to choose when you book your sessions to best suit your culinary goals.

    3. Complete the Onboarding Questionnaire

    Share your allergies, preferences, skills, and goals so I can tailor our sessions perfectly to you.

    4. Cook Together (online or in-person)

    Join our video call at the scheduled time on either your phone, tablet or laptop (if online). An ingredient list will be sent to you before each session.

    5. Track Your Progress

    We’ll review your growth regularly throughout our sessions and adjust your plan to build your confidence in the kitchen.

FAQ’s

  • During our coaching calls, simply have the video come through on your phone or laptop like you do for any normal video call.

    Take the device into the kitchen with you and have the camera facing you and your cooking area (cutting board etc). Somewhere we can still see and hear each other.

    A laptop is preferred but if you're using your phone, you might find it helpful to put a large cookbook or another heavy object behind it to keep it propped up.

  • My teaching style uses a hybrid coaching approach. Sometimes I demonstrate essential skills to provide a clearer visual guide, while at other times, I step back to focus solely on coaching and guiding you. This allows for a more engaged learning experience without the distraction of multitasking.

  • All coaching sessions are 60 minutes long. 

  • Yes, we'll discuss an ingredient list ahead of time.

    Most recipes use everyday staple ingredients that you likely already have in your kitchen, and I encourage substitutions based on seasonality and availability to keep it as easy, as sustainable, and as realistic as possible for you.

  • Yes, absolutely. My coaching is centered around methods and knowledge that can be applied to any diet.

    Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, or have any other dietary requirements, I will work with you to accommodate your dietary needs and preferences.

  • My teaching focuses heavily on plant-based ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes. It does also include small amounts of eggs, dairy, and unprocessed meat and seafood.

    However, our sessions are tailored to your preferences, so if you prefer a 100% plant-based diet (or have any other dietary requirements), just let me know. I am well versed in accommodating all dietary needs and am more than happy to customise the sessions to fit your preferences.
